The chairman welcomed the members to the meeting, and also PC Dave White and PCSO Leighton Webb It was reported that Mrs Doris Evans, Mrs Doreen Lewis,  Mr Graham Anthony and 4 moths old baby Leon Wilson who are not well.
 We wish them all a speedy recovery.  The BBQ will be held on Saturday 14th July in Llys yr Orsaf between three and seven – weather permitting.  The trip to Western Super Mare will be on September 1st – please give your name to Mr Peter Thorne.  As we are setting a website for GNW, if anyone has any thing to go the web, please contact the chairman.  It will be www.glanmor-neighbourhoodwatch.org.uk and hopefully be working from the end of this month.  Speed cameras have been working in the area and down the North Dock area.  Therefore beware of your speeds.  Complaints were received about the noise coming from the North Dock area.  A meeting has been arranged for Saturday 14th July at 200pm – 1400 hours.  We need letters of complaints about the noise sent in to Inspector Dyfed Boulton, and also please attend the meeting.  Everyone to meet by the Discovery Centre.  Mr Paul Lewis from Community First explained that there is a meeting of “Safer Communities Action Group” who meets at Triniti Chapel on the third Thursday of each month, the next one will be on Thursday 19th July – every one is welcomed.  It was reported that a pair of Stump Pegs had been stolen off a bicycle in Llys yr Orsaf, and also a Caravan parked on the road in Bryn Road.  We hope to have a “Security/Safety Day” in the Seaside area on September 25th if possible with various stands for the public to attend.  It was decided to ask the Mayor Mr Ray Oneill to open the day, failing that our Councillor Hubert Hitchman would do so.  Mr Billy and Sharon Jones, Llys yr Orsaf kindly donated a bottle of Irish Knight Country Cream for the raffle.  It was won by Mr Ron Hipkiss who kindly gave it back to be raffled next month.
We like to thank Rob of the Cambrian for supplying the sandwiches on the night.
The next meeting will be held at the Cambrian in Marine Street on August 6th at 6 30 pm – 1830 hours.  New members are always welcomed to join us.
